Notable Historical Events Related to Drug Use in Arlington, TX
In 2019 in Arlington, TX, a drug bust at an apartment complex led to the arrest of one man. Arlington police found more than 72,000 Xanax pills, 22 pounds of hydro marijuana, four handguns, and cash. The Arlington man faced the felony charges of the possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana between 5 and 50 pounds.
In May of 2020 in Arlington, TX, the Arlington Gang Unit found large amounts of guns and weapons during a traffic stop for traffic violations. After further investigation, officers found more than two pounds of marijuana cigarettes, 658 THC vape pens, Adderall and Oxycodone, and cash.
Local Initiatives to Curb Substance Abuse in Arlington, TX

It would be great to have multiple options for a location to do a drug screen. The location I called said it was a 3-5 hour wait and they did not do appointments. Luckily I was able to get there when they opened and only took 1 hour to complete.
