5 Panel Drug Test
Find Clinics for a 5 Panel Drug Test
$75 See all reviewsA 5 Panel Drug Test is a urine drug test that tests for commonly used drugs like marijuana, cocaine, basic opiates including codeine, morphine, and heroin, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines including methamphetamine. THC can be excluded, and alcohol, nicotine, ecstasy, oxycodone, or hydrocodone can be added. You can choose between a rapid 5 panel drug test or a lab test. This testing panel originated at the start of the modern drug testing era, in the 1980's. However, this panel test does not detect many of the drugs that are commonly used today. Specimens are sent to a SAMHSA certified laboratory for analysis, and results are reviewed by our Medical Review Officer, a licensed physician. Test results take about one business day for negatives, and three to five business days to confirm non-negatives.

5 Panel Testing Options
Rapid 5 Panel Drug Test
Same as the 5 panel, but with rapid results for negative screens. Non-negatives still get sent off to the lab for confirmation testing.
5 Panel Drug Test Alcohol
This option adds a look back for alcohol consumption over a short 12 hour period.
5 Panel Plus EtG Alcohol
This option adds an extended 3 day EtG look back for the presence of alcohol or its metabolites.
5 Panel Drug Test without THC
Some employers, especially in states where marijuana is legal, don't feel it's right to include THC in their employment drug tests. This test is a standard 5 panel in every way except it excludes a screening for cannabinoids.
5 Panel Plus Expanded Opiates
Add a screening for widely abused drugs like expanded opiates like hyrdocodone and oxycodone, plus a screening for MDMA, which is also known as Molly or Ecstasy.
5 Panel Plus Nicotine
Some insurers or employers need to test for nicotine in addition to a basic 5 panel because of the risk that tobacco poses to their clients or employees.
