Great, Smooth Operation
Jared was great getting me setup last minute with a Saturday test. I had slept through a Soberlink test the night before and needed a back up EtG to prove that I had not consumed alcohol the night before. Smooth, easy operation and the price was inline with my weekly randoms for the past 20 weeks. Highly recommend.

Carlsbad, California: Drug abuse trends

San Diego County experienced a 33 percent rise in drug overdose deaths in 2021. About 1,303 people did not survive drug overdoses. While methamphetamine, cocaine, and alcohol were involved in many of these fatalities, the biggest contributor was fentanyl, which fueled the spike in deaths.

The county supervisors declared fentanyl as a public health crisis in the region. In response, officials installed a dozen vending machines with naloxone, a drug that can reverse opioid overdoses and save lives. Now, drug stores can sell naloxone without a prescription, which they hope will help save lives. Although the authorities are going after drug dealers, the number of people dying from drug overdose is still high.

Carlsbad police reported a large drug bust

In April 2022, Carlsbad police seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and thousands of pills of fentanyl. A police officer contacted a suspicious woman sitting in her car and discovered multiple different drugs after a short investigation. The woman also had multiple driver's licenses that were assumed to be stolen. The police officer arrested this 24-years-old woman with narcotics sale charges, and they booked her into the Vista Detention Facility. The woman admitted she had the drugs from Mexico.
