Following a multi-agency investigation, in March 2022, a Modesto resident with ties to the Hells Angels motorcycle group pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The investigation found that 35-year-old Michael Pack had been involved in a drug trafficking conspiracy that was led by Hells Angels President Randy Picchi. Pack faces a mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison and a $5 million fine, but could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
