Drug Testing in Fort Collins, Colorado

Fort Collins CO Drug Testing Locations

Types of Drug Tests in Fort Collins, Colorado clinics:

In Fort Collins, Health Street offers the widest variety and selection of drug tests anywhere, which allows you to choose from any panel you wish, with rapid results or sent to our lab, using a urine sample or a hair sample. Most of our tests have an option to add alcohol or remove THC from the screening, so that we can always meet your specific requirements.

The number of urine drug testing services and drug screening panels that we offer means that you can test for nearly any drug.

The most basic test we offer is a 5 Panel Drug Test – $75, which tests for:

Marijuana (THC, cannabinoids, weed)
Phencyclidine (PCP – angel dust)
Amphetamines (Adderall, Ritalin, methamphetamines)
Basic Opiates (heroin, morphine, codeine)

The next option up from there is the 9 Panel Drug Test – $85, which adds in some commonly abused prescriptions:

Benzodiazepines (Valium, Klonopin, Xanax)

The popular 10 Panel Drug Test – $89 adds in methaqualone.

***12 Panel – Comprehensive Urine Test***

When asked, we often recommend the 12 Panel Drug Test – $149 because it is a well rounded test that screens for common opioids and ecstasy, including:

MDMA/6AM (Ecstasy, Molly)
Expanded opiate class: Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone (Vicodan, Percocet, Oxycontin)

If you’re at all concerned with opiate usage beyond basic painkillers, just as many people in Fort Collins are, consider registering for a 16 Panel Opiate Drug Test – $250. These synthetic opiates are not picked up by lesser panel tests.

Meperidine (Demerol)
Buprenorphine (Suboxone)

The above are just a few of the wide variety of urine tests we offer. You can view all urine drug screens offered at our Fort Collins drug testing centers. We offer urine tests that go up to 22 panels, plus specialized tests for synthetic marijuana and bath salts, ketamine and rohypnol, GHB and more.

Alcohol Drug Tests

Alcohol use can be detected by our Fort Collins drug testing locations. You can select our EtG test for alcohol (which has a 3 day look-back), or add it to any of our drug tests. Choose the alcohol drug testing that looks back at the specific period of time that matters to you:

Breath Alcohol Tests: choose this if alcohol use is suspected on the job and as a standard after an accident. You can register to bring the staff to us, or request that we dispatch a mobile drug testing technician to come on-site in the Fort Collins, CO region for emergencies.

The Vibrant and Outdoor-Loving Community of Fort Collins, Colorado

Fort Collins, Colorado, is located just a short drive away from the larger city of Denver, in the middle of the beautiful snow-capped Rocky Mountains. The town itself spans 57 square miles, but residents can often be found exploring neighboring national parks and nature areas such as Pineridge Natural Area, the Horsetooth Reservoir, and Cache la Poudre River Canyon.

The city is home to just over 174,000 individuals as of 2020. Currently, the median income is $62,132, with an unemployment rate of just 2%. Many locals work for Colorado State University, which is located in the town center, as well as UC Health Poudre Valley Hospital, the Poudre R-1 School District, and the city and county governments.

Substance Abuse Trends in Fort Collins

Trends in Fort Collins suggest that many drugs sold in this city are being brought up from Denver or trafficked from other areas using the interstates that cross the city. Despite its small size, Fort Collins’ location marks it as a desirable location for drug traffickers, which has led to a rise in the number of local drug overdoses.

Heroin sells for as little as $10 per dose here, with much of the local supply coming in from Denver. It’s estimated that deaths from heroin in Denver alone have risen to six times what they were in 2004. Police in Fort Collins have joined the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force, to try and root out individuals who are responsible for creating, selling, and distributing drugs locally.

How Drugs Have Affected People in Fort Collins

Since 2019, local law enforcement has been tracking a drug trafficking organization called “Operation La Familia” that was operating in Fort Collins and throughout Northern Colorado. This organization was found to be selling illegal narcotics, as well as prescription opioids, weapons, and equipment for manufacturing and distributing more drugs. In June 2020, the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force finally felt that they had enough evidence to act and executed a sting that brought six of the drug organization’s leaders into police custody.

Law enforcement officers are hopeful that with these individuals in custody, illegal drug distribution in Fort Collins, throughout Larimer County, and even in Denver will be affected. The case is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
