According to Ventura County, under California’s Adult Use of Marijuana Act (AUMA), individuals who are 21 years of age or older may legally possess up to one ounce of leaf marijuana or up to eight grams of marijuana concentrate. Adults aged 21 or older may also grow up to six plants indoors per residence no matter how many households are living in the residence.
With limited exception for medical marijuana facilities, no distribution facilities (dispensaries) are allowed within the City of Ventura’s jurisdiction. Retail stores are also prohibited from selling products containing cannabis or cannabidiol (CBD) in the city of Ventura, regardless of whether it contains THC.
