In February 2021, the owner of a hot dog stand in Pompano Beach, FL was arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges. The man distributed large amounts of narcotics at his hot dog shop. Investigators from the Broward County Sheriff’s Officers found $18,000 in cash, fentanyl, ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine, and multiple prescription pills. The man was arrested after a traffic stop, along with his son, who was possessing fentanyl and marijuana. Authorities executed a search warrant on his home and found more drugs and about a half-million dollars in cash. The drug operation did not stop after his arrest, and months later, the man’s three sons were arrested with federal charges.
