Increased availability of drug drop boxes: More drug drop boxes have been installed in the area to provide individuals struggling with drug abuse a safe and anonymous way to dispose of prescription medications. This initiative helps prevent access to unused medications.

Distribution of educational materials: The plan includes the distribution of educational materials to patients and prescribing physicians.

Public Awareness Campaign: This campaign aims to educate the public about the risks, signs, and available resources for opioid addiction.

Crisis Text Assistant Line: To provide support for teens and young adults facing behavioral health issues or experiencing bullying, a Crisis Text Assistant Line has been established. Alpharetta man sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for drug trafficking

In June 2022, a jury convicted a 31-year-old man to 25 years in prison for drug trafficking activities. His actions not only endangered the individuals he sold drugs to, but also his children, as drugs such as methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin, along with firearms, were found within their reach. Throughout his house, agents found 22 kilos of methamphetamine, 1.8 kilos of cocaine, and 1.2 kilograms of heroin. The methamphetamine was valued at $200,000 due to its purity.
