Since the start of the Operation Bold Blue Line initiative in 2022, officers have removed roughly 2,060 pounds of illegal narcotics, which held a street value of over $31 million (as well as $2.7+ million in drug profits). Under SB 1188, any drug containing a detectable amount of fentanyl is now classified as a "weapon of terrorism," and those who manufacture or distribute these drugs can be found guilty of a Class 4 felony. If found guilty, an offender could face two to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000. This charge would be accompanied by a felony Schedule I or II drug distribution charge, which carries an additional five to 40-year prison sentence.

Easy to provide the sample and the results were returned in 48-hours. A 5th start would be awarded if the collection site had more than 1 staff person to greet patients, conduct the tests, and handle all associated paperwork and procedures.
