The search resulted in the discovery of over a kilo of synthetic MDMA, 203 grams of meth, 23.9 grams of heroin, 61.9 grams of cocaine, 122 grams of marijuana, $7,000 in cash, and firearms, including a semi-automatic rifle. The man was charged with multiple crimes, including armed trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In an effort to reduce opioid-related overdose deaths, the Florida Department of Health in Brevard County has announced the availability of free Narcan (Naloxone) nasal spray kits. This life-saving medication reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, restoring a victim’s consciousness and breathing in a matter of seconds.
