In 2019, five individuals from Clinton and the Prince George’s and Charles County area were arrested and charged for their roles in a drug distribution organization that resulted in a fatal overdose. According to reports, Anthony Dotson, Marvin Gray, James Harvey, Marcellus Woodland, and Tiara Mackall worked together to traffic heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine across the Prince George’s County and Charles County area.
Reports show that the group utilized multiple cell phones and coded language to conduct their drug-running activities. Law enforcement conducted surveillance and witnessed multiple drug transactions; one buyer was found to be the victim of a deadly overdose caused by fentanyl intoxication. Law enforcement executed multiple search warrants at eight separate locations the drug conspirators used to prepare, store, and sell the drugs.
