In October 2022, three men were arrested on Northwood Drive in Baytown after law enforcement seized a massive amount of narcotics. The three were federally charged with conspiracy to manufacture and deliver more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. The massive seizure was successfully completed in partnership with federal law enforcement agencies and the Baytown Police Department.

According to reports, when law enforcement searched a residence in the 1000 Block of Northwood Drive, they discovered a 9mm handgun, more than $11,000 in cash, and a massive 68 kilograms of methamphetamine inside. The multiple kilograms of methamphetamine were believed to hold a street value of well over $500,000. This massive bust comes as a victory for local law enforcement as they believe it made a significant impact on local Baytown access to these dangerous drugs.
