Keeps You Informed
I give this review a 5 because of how well Health-Street keeps you in the loop. When you submit your sample, when it arrives at their lab and when the results are in they text you each time. Their website was pretty easy to use but could look more professional.

Government Efforts to Address Drug Problems in Ann Arbor, MI

Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County residents have access to naloxone, otherwise known by its brand name Narcan, which is a life-saving drug known to reverse the effects of opioid overdoses. Residents can receive free naloxone training to become educated on administering the drug to prevent opioid overdoses and save lives. Anyone at risk of an opioid overdose, anyone that uses substances that may be laced with opioids, or anyone that knows someone that may be at risk of an opioid overdose is encouraged to have naloxone on hand. Naloxone can be obtained at multiple locations throughout Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County, including all major pharmacy chains, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and the Ann Arbor Fire Departments.

Experts Say...

Jimena Loveluck, MSW, Washtenaw County Health Department health officer said, "Most opioid-related deaths involve fentanyl, additional substances, or other drugs added to illicit opioids. People may unknowingly ingest fatal doses of fentanyl or other substances, which can seriously increase the risk of a life-threatening overdose." Loveluck warned Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County residents to use caution, never use drugs alone, and always have naloxone available.
