Drug bust in Amherst: Police seized over four kilograms of drugs

Police searched a house in Amherst after getting a search warrant and seized half a kilogram of methamphetamine, one kilogram of fentanyl, and three kilograms of cocaine. They also found ecstasy, many packing materials, and mixing substances.

Detectives took two people into custody, but one woman was released after posting a $200,000 bail. The man was remanded to the holding center without bail and held on U.S. Marshal detainer. Both people were investigated for allegedly trafficking narcotics in Erie County.
