Indiana law enforcement officials have made a bust with drug trafficking in the area, with the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of 220 pounds of cocaine and a private plane. The suspects are believed to be part of a larger operation responsible for facilitating a drug pipeline between Mexico and Chicago. The cocaine in question had been flown from Mexico and was destined for Gary, Indiana. After intercepting one of the men in his vehicle, police discovered 176 pounds of cocaine in suitcases. A search of their hotel room also uncovered an additional 44 pounds of the illicit substance.
