Multi-agency efforts led to huge drug seizures in Carson City
In November 2022, multi-agency cooperation led to the arrest of three men and the seizure of many substances. Authorities seized one pound of methamphetamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, heroin, 30 fentanyl pills, over 1.7 pounds of marijuana, and illegal firearms.
One of the men had been eluding law enforcement officials. The man and his associate were taken into custody once authorities encountered them in a local auto parts store. They searched their vehicle and found various controlled substances and guns.
Two people arrested in Carson City
Two people in Carson City were arrested after authorities investigated them regarding child and drug abuse. Both of them were contacted during a traffic stop. When authorities stopped them, they found methamphetamine and fentanyl in the vehicle, along with two juveniles. After searching the residence, police found multiple drug paraphernalia and substances. The drugs were easily accessible by the juveniles, so the suspects were faced with charges for child abuse and drug abuse.
