Notable Historical Events Related to Drug Use in Worcester, MA

In July of 2022, a long investigation in Worcester led to the seizure of hundreds of fentanyl pills. Worcester police executed a search warrant of the suspect's home and found 1,300 grams of fentanyl and 700 fentanyl pills. The Worcester resident was charged with drug trafficking.

In June of 2022, the Worcester Police Vice Squad had a search warrant for a 45-year-old Worcester resident. While surveilling the home, the man exited the front, and as officers approached him, he fled on foot through backyards on King Street. As he fled, he discarded numerous fentanyl and cocaine bags. He was eventually detained and arrested. During the search warrant, officers found magazines, numerous rounds of ammunition, a loaded handgun, and cocaine. The Worcester man was charged with possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute, firearm possession charges, resisting arrest, and improper storage of a large-capacity firearm.

Very helpful although I wasn't told of the hours (computer is shut down from 1130-1). I drove 75 mins to be told that I couldn't get the test done because they were shutdown. It was a wasted trip. I have to go again on my next day off.
