Search warrants at two separate residences led to the seizure of 9.72 ounces of methamphetamine and 30.7 ounces of marijuana. The street value for the drugs was nearly $50,000. Officers also discovered oxycodone, hydrocodone, amphetamine, suboxone, a digital scale, and packaging bags.
Earlier in 2021, a Chalmette woman was arrested for various narcotics charges. The 32-year-old woman was booked with multiple charges, including possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, and possession with the intent to distribute THC. A search warrant led to the seizure of 50 pounds of high-grade marijuana, which has a street value of about $175,000, crack cocaine, and 431THC vapes, estimated at a $43,000 street value.
